Anonymous asked: advice for a high school senior?
Don’t slack off and let senioritis hit you.
Hang out with friends as much as you can.
Take as many pictures as you can.
Go on class trips. Go to Prom if you can afford it.
Shower your friends with gifts- do Secret Santa or something.
On nights where you receive rejected letters or even acceptance letters, celebrate, or just be with people you care about who could provide you comfort.
Provide yourself comfort. Treat yo’ self.
As a universal message…
don’t let your gpa or sat score define you.
You did what you could and now you’re going to the college you belong to. Maybe not your first or second choice, the but the university that accepted you for what you had presented. If it bothers you that much, transfer the next semester or year, but make the best of what you’ve worked for..
In college it’s like a reset button. As refreshing as it sounds, it’s a lot more stressful than you think it is.
So enjoy the moments you have right now, because you’ll remember them.
Even if high school wasn’t the greatest, (it certainly wasn’t for me,) still make something of it with people you at least give two shits about.
It’ll be worth it. I promise.
In the summer, try to connect with others also going to your college… you figure it out from there.
P.S. I could honestly create a whole video on this topic, maybe I will.
A moonbow is a rainbow caused by moonlight. It’s a bit fainter than an actual rainbow. Moonbows are rare because moonlight is not very bright. A bright full moon is needed & it must be raining opposite the moon. The sky must be dark and the moon must be less than 42º high. (Source) (You may also like: 360 degree rainbows)
